Apple’s latest gizmo has geeks buzzing…and has caught the eye of many book designers. Craig Mod famously argued before the iPad was launched that it would be the first device on the market that allowed books to retain all the glory of print design: color images, layout, and formed content. And on Saturday, June 5, the Seattle Times technology reviewer discussed the versatility of the iPad as an ebook reader, since Kindle (Amazon) and Nook (Barnes & Noble) apps are now available for the iPad. See the Seattle Times review here.
